The Rain- Her Name Is Amanda.

Neigh everybun. Kai here. This is a new track I made yesterday. I made it for this girl Amanda Eversole that I like, but she hasn't really responded to it. Whatever, justcallsaulgood I guess. I've been using Ozone mastering software lately. A lot of producers would castrate me for putting my tracks through sonic maximization, but meh... I grew up in the 1990's. I like that overcompressed sound, at least to a certain degree.

I've been super inspired by Alice Glass and Ethan Kath of Crystal Castles lately. Expect some releases in the near future that aren't all... Boom, clap. (turn on diddly electro sample) insert Bassline, ect... I'm a little more forward thinking than recent appearances would suggest. ^_-

This track is free, but I dont' really have a good way of putting up on the Wired as an MP3/LAME/Wav as it stands right now. I don't do Soundcloud, but if you can find a way to pull it off of YouTube. (Hint: You can. Google search.) than feel free to cop it and share it with all your friends! ;P

"I learned in a dream that I could fall in love with Alice Glass, befriend Liam Gallagher, be crushed on by emo teenagers, and blind a man by slashing his face. God is showing me the possibilities. I'm more grateful than I could express in a blog post." --Kai.

Kai. Rickenbacker 660.

New Order Semi-Live in the Studio-- The Perfect Kiss.

I don't have a lot to say about New Order than, "HOLYSHITKICKASSFUCKYESLET'SGO" Footage like this is inspiring. I need to get down. I haven't gotten down in a while.

If anybody can give me a ride to the New Order/Johnny Marr show in Vegas on Thursday, you'd be my hero forever. ^_-

Crystal Castles- Knights.

My favorite video from my favorite band. I'm ashamed that I wasn't able to see them when they came to Salt Lake. Thanks Parry! You pessimistic fuck face.

Check it out. The video is incredible.

(This is just the song)

Here's the video. It's a bunch of Japanese teenagers taking lean and ecstasy and wandering around Tokyo in a drunken state.

"I really hope Alice is real."

Daniel Earwicker-- Stars. (Dubstar)

Another great cover by my Martian with master Arson, Danny Earwicker! Check out his YouTube channel. He records music as The Primrose League. Sort of like I record as the The Rain. :3

I.K.U. by Shu Lea Cheang. A film I haven't seen, but I'm enthused about.

I recently discovered a film whilst searching for Cyberpunk literature. It's called I.K.U. I actually have only seen the few snippets that are laying around YouTube/The Wired, but it's hard to not be enthused about it considering it's a Japanese Cyberpunk film that's one half a porno. ^_^ I love this kind of shit. Rewriting boundaries. Changing definitions. I can't wait until we have feature length 100 million dollar + porn films floating around my local Cinemark. Here's the trailer:

If anybody has a copy or working Torrent link, please do send me a message. I think I'm going to just order it off Amazon though. It's a steal at 12$ new.

Bentinho Massaro with some Transcendent wisdom.

Hey everyone.

This is Bentinho Massaro. I think he might my Maitreya. :3 No. He's just a great young chap with some wise words and ideas. Check it out if you're into the examination of human consciousness and things of that sort.

Online Lecture at NYU: American Gothic (I)

Back to school. Back to school. To prove to Dad that I'm not a fool.

On the more serious side of things, I've gotten more out of watching these lectures that almost anything I've been involved with. My mind is expanding rapidly! Join us, won't you? ^_-

The Rain-- Love Festival (Oops)

Hey everyone. This is a new thing I put together with my computer, my brain, a Yamaha bass, and some magic I had laying around. It's Creative Commons like most of the things I make so use it to your liking. Also consider me for future projects if you're in need of a music maker. :3

"I always say cliche things like, "the future is bright." Perhaps I don't want a bright future. I certainly don't want a dark future, but maybe something more like playing Sonic Adventure all day and going out at night. I'd quite like that. Especially if I had some good people to be around."

Gorillaz- Spitting Out The Demons

This is my coming down song.
