Flipper's Guitar- Groove Tube.素晴らしい

I think Flipper's Guitar (which I unwittingly refer to as, "Fripper's Guitar" from time to time) might just be the greatest guitar group ever. They're everything I like about the Manchester scene, but Japanese and with better chords. Anyway, this is really groovy tune for you to bounce to:

The Rain- Untilted Track for Björk.

This is a track that I crafted for my favorite thing ever, Björk! I love her so much!

I actually Google'd, "lowercase with umlaut" to make the title. I didn't remember the word, "umlaut" either, so I ended up Googling, "lower case o with omelette."

I think that's dedication.

The Rain ft. Rebel Nation-- Why The Fuck Do We Hang Out At Deanne's House?

A track I made for mai' friends from my favorite Utah county township, Pleasant Grove!

On Google products.

I'll be concise. I need to make a photo gallery for this blog. I have all my photos in Picasa Web Albums. I cannot create a gallery that links to my Picasa though because Picasa is now Google+ photos. So I'm either going to have to upload 7GB+ of photos again to another service or find a workaround. There are other solutions as well, it's just like, still. Jesus.

Bjork- It's Not Up To You.

Bjork- Hyperballad.

My only question is when are Thom Yorke and Bjork going to have a kid so that we can have someone to take the piss out of Justin Bieber? :3

Update: A few words from Kai.

Howdyrowdylousy's. Kai here.

We recently reached 1,000 page views on Blogger. This is a big milestone for us. We really appreciate everyone that's taken an interest. Things are going to get bigger and better from here on out. We're now up to 104 posts and 90 YouTube videos also.

Our next move is to move into the Reddit sphere and get our website up and running. I really hate Reddit but whatever. Our website should be up by the end of April. I have to learn CSS again. >,< We're going to be playing live shows soon as well. Stay posted if you live in the Salt Lake/Ogden/Provo area.

Yeah. Things are really great right now. Thanks everyone.

Kai. Fender Deluxe. Rickenbacker 660.

Kai Ikari: Something I through together for the sake of learning. -

This is something I through together with my Fender and some craftyness. Therre's like 4 tracks of guitar, a bass, and a weird sound coming out of the sampler. Expect more records in the future that are actually like, guitar and drums and stuff.

The Rain-- A Generic House Track of Little Importance.

Heymahnuckaz. Kai here. Here's a new release for ya'll so-fly bitches to shake yer' ass to. It has a backwards 808 sample in it. Woof. Woof. I used Ozone 4 to master it, so it sounds pretty big. The picture was taken with a Canon 7D on our way back from Las Vegas. It's a picture of 3 string-spirits having non-consensual sex with each-other. I think the yellow one is the giver. :3

This track is completely free so use it to your liking. If you could credit us or link to this blog though, I'd highly appreciate it. ^_- We've finally hit the 1,000 page views mark, so shit's getting real. Mad real. (Yo.)

"I'm good at writing, just not most of the time." --Kai.

Kai plays a Rickenbacker 660.

Hey ya'll. I recently went on a trip to Las Vegas and brought back lost of goodies! ^_^ (Some illegal!) The first I'd like to share is a clip of me playing a lovely Rickenbacker guitar that the good folks at Guitar Center Las Vegas allowed to play for a little while.

All-in-all (All and all?) I really, really like this guitar. Not enough to drop 2,000$ on it though. That's like a 93' Integra with 100,000 miles on it. I'll take the Integra. :3 It plays a bit like a Strat in terms of sound and attack. The strings hang really high above the pick-ups/left hand area, which makes it sort of hard to play when One first sits down with it. I can't argue with the sound though, especially through the Fender Deluxe. It's marvelous. I didn't even realize how good it was until I got home and listened to the footage. I think I'll buy a Ricky 330/12 when I start actually making some bread from making these diddly little internet things. :3

The song I'm playing here is, "If Love Is The Drug, I Want To O.D." by The Brian Jonestown Massacre. It's my favorite song at the moment. God bless you Joel Gion! <3

The Rain- Her Name Is Amanda.

Neigh everybun. Kai here. This is a new track I made yesterday. I made it for this girl Amanda Eversole that I like, but she hasn't really responded to it. Whatever, justcallsaulgood I guess. I've been using Ozone mastering software lately. A lot of producers would castrate me for putting my tracks through sonic maximization, but meh... I grew up in the 1990's. I like that overcompressed sound, at least to a certain degree.

I've been super inspired by Alice Glass and Ethan Kath of Crystal Castles lately. Expect some releases in the near future that aren't all... Boom, clap. (turn on diddly electro sample) insert Bassline, ect... I'm a little more forward thinking than recent appearances would suggest. ^_-

This track is free, but I dont' really have a good way of putting up on the Wired as an MP3/LAME/Wav as it stands right now. I don't do Soundcloud, but if you can find a way to pull it off of YouTube. (Hint: You can. Google search.) than feel free to cop it and share it with all your friends! ;P

"I learned in a dream that I could fall in love with Alice Glass, befriend Liam Gallagher, be crushed on by emo teenagers, and blind a man by slashing his face. God is showing me the possibilities. I'm more grateful than I could express in a blog post." --Kai.

New Order Semi-Live in the Studio-- The Perfect Kiss.

I don't have a lot to say about New Order than, "HOLYSHITKICKASSFUCKYESLET'SGO" Footage like this is inspiring. I need to get down. I haven't gotten down in a while.

If anybody can give me a ride to the New Order/Johnny Marr show in Vegas on Thursday, you'd be my hero forever. ^_-

"Some day that 80's will be something more than an ironic time with a lot of colors." --Kai.

Crystal Castles- Knights.

My favorite video from my favorite band. I'm ashamed that I wasn't able to see them when they came to Salt Lake. Thanks Parry! You pessimistic fuck face.

Check it out. The video is incredible.

(This is just the song)

Here's the video. It's a bunch of Japanese teenagers taking lean and ecstasy and wandering around Tokyo in a drunken state.

"I really hope Alice is real."

Daniel Earwicker-- Stars. (Dubstar)

Another great cover by my Martian with master Arson, Danny Earwicker! Check out his YouTube channel. He records music as The Primrose League. Sort of like I record as the The Rain. :3

I.K.U. by Shu Lea Cheang. A film I haven't seen, but I'm enthused about.

I recently discovered a film whilst searching for Cyberpunk literature. It's called I.K.U. I actually have only seen the few snippets that are laying around YouTube/The Wired, but it's hard to not be enthused about it considering it's a Japanese Cyberpunk film that's one half a porno. ^_^ I love this kind of shit. Rewriting boundaries. Changing definitions. I can't wait until we have feature length 100 million dollar + porn films floating around my local Cinemark. Here's the trailer:

If anybody has a copy or working Torrent link, please do send me a message. I think I'm going to just order it off Amazon though. It's a steal at 12$ new.

Bentinho Massaro with some Transcendent wisdom.

Hey everyone.

This is Bentinho Massaro. I think he might my Maitreya. :3 No. He's just a great young chap with some wise words and ideas. Check it out if you're into the examination of human consciousness and things of that sort.

Online Lecture at NYU: American Gothic (I)

Back to school. Back to school. To prove to Dad that I'm not a fool.

On the more serious side of things, I've gotten more out of watching these lectures that almost anything I've been involved with. My mind is expanding rapidly! Join us, won't you? ^_-

The Rain-- Love Festival (Oops)

Hey everyone. This is a new thing I put together with my computer, my brain, a Yamaha bass, and some magic I had laying around. It's Creative Commons like most of the things I make so use it to your liking. Also consider me for future projects if you're in need of a music maker. :3

"I always say cliche things like, "the future is bright." Perhaps I don't want a bright future. I certainly don't want a dark future, but maybe something more like playing Sonic Adventure all day and going out at night. I'd quite like that. Especially if I had some good people to be around."
